Kimberly Steimle Vaughan is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief People Officer (CPO) at Suffolk Construction. In her marketing role, she is responsible for the overall management of Suffolk's branding platform, corporate marketing, business development, and community outreach efforts across several main offices in the Northeast, Southeast and West Coast regions. As Chief People Officer, Kim oversees the human resources and training departments and is responsible for implementing Suffolk’s actionable long-term plan for hiring, mentoring, developing, and retaining the organization’s greatest asset, its people. Kim also serves on Suffolk's Executive Management Team, which is responsible for providing counsel and input on the strategic direction of the company.

Kim serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, which is committed to supporting the organization's mission to help young people build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, which provides leadership in creating a healthy climate for economic development and job creation in the Greater Boston area. Kim also serves of the Board of Trustees of Milton Academy, chairing its master planning process, and on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts. Kim has previously led the organizational efforts for numerous other causes on behalf of Suffolk Construction and CEO John Fish, including the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, the American Red Cross, Presidents at Pops for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ), Anti-Defamation League "Torch of Liberty" Awards Dinner, and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC).

Kim has often been recognized in the local business community for her leadership skills and achievements. She was recently named one of Banker & Tradesman’s “Women of FIRE”, an annual award recognizing key female players in the local FIRE (Finance, Insurance and Real Estate) sector. Additionally, she was honored as one of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 recipients of the Ten Outstanding Young Leaders (TOYL) awards. In 2008, she received the prestigious Pinnacle Award presented annually by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce to recognize women who have made outstanding achievements in the business community through strong corporate leadership and a commitment to making a difference in their field. She was also recognized as one of the Banker & Tradesman's "New Leaders" in 2008. In 2006, she was ranked on the Boston Business Journal's "40 Under 40" list and recognized for her significant influence in the Greater Boston area as a result of her professional, personal and civic accomplishments. Prior to her role at Suffolk, Kim served as Director of Operations at McDermott O'Neill Associates, a prestigious strategic communication firm specializing in public affairs marketing. At McDermott O'Neill, she oversaw the firm's business development, human resources, information technology and marketing initiatives.

Kim graduated from Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
