Our contractors completed this Los Angeles project, which consisted of the renovation of 87,000 square feet and the addition of 13,000 square feet. Extensive demolition of an existing structure was required, followed by construction of a new façade, roofing, interiors, mechanical and electrical utilities. Specific improvements include an innovative carbon fiber seismic wall wrap, gel-injected subterranean waterproofing of the basement and a wall-length electronic display message board. The education project is targeted for LEED® Silver certification and includes a variety of complex sustainable elements like a rooftop 350KVW Photo Voltaic System and a 95 percent construction/demolition waste diversion. The project was built by Suffolk’s education contractors in Los Angeles, CA.
